Fosters and Plaster and Fishies, Oh My!
Lessee.. first we've got a new foster! His name is Dickens and he is HUGE. We don't have any good pictures yet, but I tried. He's getting along okay with the other kitties, but isn't excited about them. He loves to play, though. You should see him going after Da Bird!

Oh, and there's a big gaping hole in our living room ceiling! While Patrick was up at the lab late on, er, Tuesday? night, the plaster cracked and came crashing down. Poor little Jazzy was nearly underneath! She went racing upstairs and wouldn't come down again for almost two days. Poor thing still stares at the hole whenever she comes downstairs, and stays as far away as she can manage. It's funny, yet sad. This'll be a nice, expensive project to fix. *sigh*

Oh, and I gave the fishy tank a good cleaning! We got a special new siphon that attaches to the faucet with a twenty foot hose, so I can empty and refill the tank without moving it. Yay! Also, we got a separating screen so we could put Eowyn back in the tank without worrying about Arwen nipping at her fins. AND we got three new cories. Well, we got four, but the one with the red eye died within hours. One of our cories is deformed. He has a really tiny pupil in one eye, and none at all in the other! I named him Greebo. The other two have no names yet.
