New Fishies!!

Well, we did it. We gots us some new fishies! We got a ten-gallon tank, with some gravel, live plants and a fish house shaped like a cambodian sculpture (building?) Anywho, the picture's not stellar, but its decent. Now for introductions!

The betta is Paul [Atreides], because he's succeeding Duke Atreides and Baron Harkonnen.

The two albino (yes, albino) cories are Lenny and Carl. Their actual genders are unknown.

Enjoy! Meara sure is.. Oro only sat and watched for a minute, but Meara's been watching them for HOURS. She also tries to eat them or paw them through the glass. Hee. We'll be getting more fish later, but we need to let the bacteria catch up first.


Extra investments (or additions to the tank):

Water testing kit, which tests ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and pH.
Fishie food.
Heater and thermometer.
3-way filter.
